Filming Universal Themes: Creativity and Goodwill
Sanaa's films aim to showcase everyday people who make a difference in the life of the less fortunate, and highlight the unique artistic talents of gifted people who pursue hobbies with admirable passion. Like any other multicultural person whose life experiences have crossed many boundaries, Sanaa finds these passions both in big ideas - cultural diplomacy, smart power - and in small endeavors - saffron farming and culinary discoveries. Creativity and passion have no borders, and shining a spotlight on these common traits we share globally - whatever the subject matter - teaches us about new things while reminding us of our shared values.
While earning a degree in digital filmmaking at Boston University, Sanaa volunteered with Search for Common Ground (SFCG) in Washington DC where she provided communications and partnership development support to the SFCG Film Festival. She also volunteered for the The Muslim West Facts Project, a partnership between Gallup and the Coexist Foundation, where she designed a media-centric marketing and PR plan.
Sanaa has worked as a production consultant with Sigma Technologies - an integrated production and post-production company based in Morocco - where she developed proposals for international feature films.
